Application and Hostel Policy

Guests who arrive after 6:00PM, please inform us at least one day in advance by email: attic@artistvillage.org , or telephone: +88622364-5313 ext.500. Please specify your estimated time of arrival, so that we can make arrangements for you.

Attention:

• When checking in, you must present a Taiwan ID/ passport and other valid proof (ex: business card) of identity. The name on your Application must match the name on your ID.
• Please bring towels, slippers and other personal toiletries.
• We will not provide replacement service during your stay. If you need to change bed sheets or pillowcases, please contact our staff.
• Attic Hostel is a non-smoking space.
• Applicants who choose to attend activities held by Treasure Hill are requested to fill out the activity feedback questionnaire when checking out.

 

• Online payment by credit card or debit card on ATTIC website.
• International wire transfer.
• Bank transfer or electronic bank transfers.

 

Applicants are required to complete the cancellation procedure online.
Under the following circumstances, Attic Hostel has the right to decline one's application for one year：

• If the applicants got an approval but did not check-in.
• If the applicants canceled the reservation without any valid reason.
• Any damages, theft, or any incidentals reported in guest rooms.

The applicants, whose rights to apply for a reservation was canceled under the previous item, may reapply again if they are willing to pay for the penalty (30% of the total amount of the reserved accommodation fee) or compensate for the damaged facilities.

 

To change the reservation date, the applicant shall complete the cancellation procedure online and reapply for a new date.

 

• Attic Hostel is built on a steep hillside and has narrow staircases. Based on safety considerations, the facilities are not recommended for those with difficulties in mobility, young children, or the elderly.
• Attic Hostel is designed to provide short-term stay experiences, and in principle, the longest period of stay is one month.
• Our hostel is in the natural environment, thus there will be mosquitoes and insects in summer time. We will provide insect repellent for your needs.

 

The main intention of establishing Attic Hostel, is to promote and increase the exchange and development of culture, art, design and other related fields.

Under Article 3 of the "Regulations on the Management of Treasure Hill Traveler's Hostel ", the accommodations are only offered to the following two specific types of guests:

• All practitioners of the cultural and creative industries as specified in the Law for the Development of the Cultural and Creative Industries.
• Participants in the Treasure Hill Artist Village organized art and culture related education and training, studies, exhibitions, academic exchanges, conferences, camps and other related activities.

 

Please apply through the official website http://attic.artistvillage.org/ of Attic Hostel. Approved applicants will receive a confirmation e-mail. A valid ID is required when checking in.

 

Please make sure that all information in the application is accurate and complete. If the information provided is inaccurate or incomplete, Attic Hostel has the right to decline the application.
